Personal Game Design Project · Pre-production Systems Case Co-op RP Survival RPG / Horror

A personal game design project focused on a cooperative expedition into infected territories.

The design combines expedition preparation, functional role interdependence, localized injuries, physical inventory and equipment, persistent campaign consequences and RP-driven information management.

The project is structured around validating a playable first gameplay loop rather than defining the complete long-term feature set.

Core Gameplay Loop

Operational Report → Select Priorities → Prepare → Deploy → Explore / Complete Objectives → Return → Campaign State Changes

At the beginning of each round, the expedition commander receives information about current directives, reconnaissance and consequences from previous operations.

The group decides how to respond, prepares equipment and roles, enters an expedition zone and returns with new information, resources or consequences that affect later rounds.

Tasks are not mandatory. Ignoring them can change routes, threats, supplies and future opportunities instead of simply blocking progression.
